Chasing wind-blown candy wrappers and bottle caps around the dark corners of a quiet neighborhood street, moth kittens are friendly and playful, but they prefer to come out at night where they flit around the streetlights, just outside of your peripheral view. If you want to play with them, bring a lantern nearby and they will chase the light and shadow as it dances across the pavement and up the concrete walls. Their tiny wings will flutter around letting them take flight for short distances as the road dust swirls and sparkles. Their large, glowing, red eyes catch the smallest movements. Listen closely and you might hear their slightly unsettling purr.
