Meet Pierogi - Pierogi's story started in the dead of winter, when he was spotted living outside of a place with a rather fitting name...CatPrint. He was cold, scared and unsure of people as he only came around in the middle of the night, sleeping in a small cat shelter outside the building. Employees there decided that he deserved more and after successfully trapping and neutering him, one of them brought him home to foster. It turns out that underneath all that fear, was an incredibly sweet boy looking for love.
There was just one problem: Pierogi desperately wanted feline friends, however, the resident cats did not return the enthusiasm.
That is when Pierogi found his way to Freedom Farmhouse, a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal sanctuary. Here at Freedom Farmhouse, he finally got exactly what he had been searching for, a home full of cats who absolutely adored him. And perhaps we over delivered, because these days Pierogi can barely find a moment of personal space. He has become every cat's personal cuddle buddy, pillow and BFF. The formerly terrified outdoor cat is now safe, warm and very much loved beyond his wildest dreams.
That transformation is why Freedom Farmhouse exists. Our mission is to give animals like Pierogi the safety, time, patience and community they need to become who they were always meant to be. Some arrive to us fearful, some arrive to us unsure, cautious or ill. Others simply had nowhere else to go. But once they become part of our sanctuary, they have a home for life.
Every Pierogi plushie purchased directly supports the residents of Freedom Farmhouse by helping to offset the costs of food, medical care, shelter, enrichment and so much more that goes into giving these animals the lives that they deserve.
